A Testimony from Dr. Jeff Earl
My father-in-law, Dr Calvin Beck, went into the Emergency Room on December 13 of 2003 with fever and delirium. Unsure of the diagnosis, he was admitted for tests and observation. He rapidly deteriorated and lapsed into a coma. Several specialists were called in, and the consensus was Herpes Encephalitis, a highly fatal viral infection of the brain. The MRI scan of his brain was the worst that the radiologist had ever seen. He wasn’t expected to survive.
A pre-release copy of “The Healing” by Tom Davis was sent overnight to our family, and was played hour after hour. The healing scriptures on it were prayed and pleaded to the Lord. The CD was even played at his bedside, saturating him with worship and the Word. The specialists kept returning with dismal news and hopeless survival statistics. He remained comatose for two weeks. There seemed to be no hope. Then, against all odds, and to the amazement of the hospital medical staff, he opened his eyes! The healing was slow, but steady. Just two days ago, we celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary with his wife, Jill. Praise the Lord!!
